Inspired by the mesmerizing interplay of celestial wonder and earthly vitality that marked that unforgettable night, the “Blue Moon in Morocco” collection pays homage to Moroccan heritage and mystique through three pieces of jewelry.

This modern earring is inspired by the ancient fibula, a piece of jewelry that goes beyond mere adornment to embody profound cultural symbols and meanings. In the hands of Moroccan artisans, the fibula was not only a functional piece used to fasten clothing, but also a profound expression of identity, status, and personal values.

The earring crafted with the same attention to detail, is forged in silver, a metal deeply rooted in Moroccan jewelry craftsmanship. Silver, revered for its luminous quality and reflective shine, was historically a metal of choice. It is said to embody the very qualities of light, radiating good and possessing a magical force that invokes the moon and brings grace to the wearer.

Additionally, our design incorporates elements rich in symbolism, echoing the fibula’s traditional role as a marker of sexuality and fertility. The point and round shapes of the design are a deliberate reference to the form and essence of the human body as well as the energy of both genders.

In Moroccan culture, jewelry like the fibula was more than just an accessory; it was a narrative tool, allowing women to communicate their identity, social status, and aspects of their personal lives without using words.

The necklace

The essence of Moroccan culture is captured in this unique piece of jewelry, which draws inspiration from the mystical numbers 5 and 7.

These numbers, deeply rooted in the Moroccan ethos, symbolize protection and perfection across various aspects of life, whether architecture or spirituality.

In homage to this meaning, a sumptuous necklace was created, adorned with 7 silver points on the chain, with a champagne diamond in its center and a citrine.

The integration of bronze and silver in its design pays homage to the ancestral Moroccan tradition, where the combination of two different metals was commonly used to create unique pieces.

The ring

The full blue moon of 2023 unveiled a spectacle like no other, a moment etched in the hearts of those who experienced it above the ancient city of Fez, Morocco. Inspired by this magical evening, a ring was born, embodying the beauty and mystery of this unforgettable night.

At the heart of the ring is a moonstone, its iridescent surface capturing the glow of the blue moon, a gem that seems to hold the mysteries of this night.

Complementing the moonstone, an orange tourmaline hangs gracefully, its fiery hue evoking the orange lights that bathed the old city, casting a warm glow against the cool moonlight.

The ring's design pays homage to the rich artistic heritage of Moroccan craftsmanship. Symmetrical in its form, with a sharpened upper edge that radiates outward, it reflects the complex and contrasting aesthetics found in ancient Moroccan jewelry and designs.
